Annie Wright Schools Seeks a Director of Lower School for July 1, 2018.
Annie Wright Schools is seeking an energetic, visionary and wise leader to be the next Lower School Director. The Lower School encompasses Pre-School through fifth grade, and the successful candidate will possess a broad and deep understanding of primary education, and have experience teaching at the elementary level. Essential qualities include impeccable judgement, compassion, warmth, and excellent organizational and communication skills. The ability to connect deeply with students, faculty and parents will be vital. Annie Wright is an IB World School, and is one of few independent schools in the US with the Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programs. While IB experience would be a distinct advantage, it is not a prerequisite.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Schools, and will join an experienced, highly effective and fun senior leadership team. This 12-month position is exempt. The compensation and benefits will be competitive.

To apply, please send the following materials by email
A single page letter of application
